What is the art of illusion? How can we skilfully deceive our senses? How do you let the spectator’s guard down? We would like to invite you to a unique performance during which two artists will guide you through the windings of the art of illusion and reveal their secrets. Or at least some of them. You will see how the mechanisms known from the stage are reflected in everyday life; in the manipulative techniques used by politicians, the media and religious gurus. Each of these principles will be unmasked and shown in practice. The show will include cabaret and musical scenes, and the circus illusionist shows will be accompanied by stand-up elements. The audience will be also given a role in the show. Will you be able to control the course of events? We doubt it.

On behalf of the artists, we invite you to a mixture of circus, clownery and poetry. Les GüMs have created a grotesque world where there is nothing and everything at the same time! StOïk is a performance in which only the body speaks and moves with a dance step, but without dancing. Here the uninteresting becomes interesting and what at first seems normal becomes strange and abstract.

On the stage you will see two jugglers yield to the mechanism of a stage treadmill and a multi-instrumentalist who watches over them and urges their actions. The artists are spellbound by the movement on their tracks. They run and run, unable to get off, while the musician orchestrates them through a series of games and experiments.
